I'm trying to code a navigation app using table views to give a list of names and when the persons table cell is selected it brings up a nib for that person.

So far I've been able to create the tables, populate it with data from an array and get when a cell is selected to change the view to a different nib. what I want to do is be able to navigate to a different nib file based on the cell selected.

Anything else it could be, it is strange for it to work once then not work after that.

I'm having a strange issue getting my Apple Wireless Keyboard to run on my new HTPC under Windows 7 (64 bit). I can get Windows' bluetooth manager to detect the keyboard, and I can input the pairing code, following which Windows seems to install a bunch of drivers, but then I get no response from the keyboard at all.

The thing I find strange is that the keyboard works when I punch in the code numbers, but never before or after.

I also have a Magic Mouse which works perfectly.

Once paired and installed, the keyboard is displayed in Windows' driver manager as a "Bluetooth Peripheral Device", so I'm wondering if the issue is that Windows isn't recognising the device as a keyboard.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks heaps, in advance.

NBhattiMay 5, 05:14 PMYour battery life is dependent on many factors, including screen brightness, WiFi, bluetooth, apps/processes/widgets running, etc. PRAM has nothing to do with battery/power/charging issues, so that won't help. Make sure you've properly calibrated, as many are misinformed about the proper procedure. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

Thanks for the info GGJstudios. To be on safe side, I did a fresh install with no applications or other junk installed. Screen brightness set to 50%, wireless connected to Airport and simple browsing. Starts at 3.30 hours and gives a total of around 2 hours. I am going to re-calibrate the battery one more time to see if it reports accurate charge.

Again, looking forward to see what times other ppl get out of this model.

I was looking at a new console for our kids' birthday on 17th of March (5 years old).

I was thinking Wii, since that would be most suited for kids that age. But something bothers me about the Wii : accessories.
I just learned about the Sensor bar : ok, but that's another wire. Next to the Wii motes (we'll need two), nunchucks and all the batteries they need, I'm starting to feel that it'll be more trouble than fun.
Same thing with the PS3 (and in addition to that, it's really expensive)

So the 360 just has the standard wireless controllers + the kinect. No other accessories to consider. Only thing is, there aren't many games out yet that cater for young children.
So maybe it 'd be better to wait until Christmas or somewhere around that time. Maybe I'll just get some more games for the PS2 and GC (maybe some buzz junior games) for the time being.

In any case, I had never thought of it like this, but when I look at all the stuff you have to buy extra for the Wii or PS3, the 360 has a HUGE advantage over these systems with Kinect. Microsoft maybe on to a winner here ! Then again, there's that minimum distance of 6 feet... Ouch.

Dav1Apr 6, 06:48 AMIn theory if you dock your iPad, (plug it into your PC) and right click on the name in iTunes you should see an option to restore your iPad, this should in theory restore all data for app store apps, (that support this feature), at this point this is your best option, I think...:)

I've seen so many threads and things for sale, but I'm losing track of what is compatible with my machine since everyone else is on a 2008+ model. Can someone recommend a card that will handle modern Steam games (aka. Portal 2) at 1920x1200?

P.S. I'd prefer to not flash anything (as I don't have Bootcamp available, unless I could do it from a USB Drive) and I don't want to lose my Bootscreen.

mad jewMar 22, 11:11 PMI'd say that a good 20 inch monitor would be generally cheaper than two 17 inch ones but I could well be wrong. I'm basing this on general Australian prices which aren't a great indication. Anyway, I suppose it should come down to whether you want more pixels on the horizontal plane (side to side) or vertically (top to bottom). The dual screens will give you a very wide viewing range but a relatively limited height. Also, from a personal taste perspective, I can't stand dual monitors because:

a) the offset dock/half menu bar
b) the screen edge being in the middle of my desktop

but that's just me. ;)
