DonLafontaineDec 28, 01:55 PMThanks for the response. I copied the imagewriter file from the original system disc (swapping discs is fun) and so the imagewriter now prints. I purchased a cartridge off ebay because the old one had run out of ink, but the images are coming out more "scrunched" than they should be. I believe it is a problem with the feeding mechanism, but any help would be much appreciated. This does not have the original 128k chip and was upgraded, but I do believe it has the orignal disc drive. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

ark11Apr 26, 03:16 PMI recently upgraded from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. As soon as ATT deactivated my SIM in the old 3G, the wifi stopped working and it would show no networks at all. Now I am not sure if deactivation caused this or something else. I tried reseting network settings but still nothing showed. I have jailbroken and unlocked the 3G phone since then (at least thats what it shows in f0recast). So this Sunday, I restored it from a backup so I can put all my games on it for kids to play. And after I rebooted it voila! the wifi was showing networks again. I was happy that it started working. Well Monday morning, I pick it up to check emails, and damn no wifi network again.
I am confused why it worked after restore and then again just stopped. Any ideas as to what is going on and what I should try? :confused:

Currently i am on 4.3.2 (jb) and i didnt really take notice of it.. But when i was on 4.3.1 i have that Hotspot in my setting menu.
Anyone else have notice this?

BobbieM629Apr 2, 01:36 PMIt is very unlike Apple to have any non-Apple logos on their devices. When they started using Intel chips, they never had an "Intel Inside" sticker. They also never had an AT&T logo on their iPhones and do not have Verizon logo on their newer iPhones.
Thankful for that! I just find the plastering of stickers and logos, typical of PC and linux boxes, very distasteful.

Maybe messing up with that slider might enable a more linear and windows-like mouse acceleration.
OS X's mouse acceleration is known to be really jumpy and annoying. I got used to it for desktop and strategy games (still a bit annoying) but for FPS games they're just unplayable.

I heard that it is possible to watch streaming live TV programs on computers and iPad through wireless connections. What are the pros and cons of using this method vs. getting a USB TV tuner? I can imagine that with the former approach, several devices can watch different TV programs at the same time while the 2nd approach requires different TV tuners for different devices. Also, watching streaming live TV may not be enjoyable due to interruptions caused by wireless connection?

BTW, the dual 1ghz Quicksilver was the last one. If you have a dual 1.42ghz you have a MDD (mirror door drive). :)

OsamedeFeb 23, 04:43 PMI had a similar problem when I first installed an HDMI switch. I changed the switch to an older one and it worked.
I have a sneaky feeling that maybe newer HDMI equipment is more strict about DRM rules on handshaking (aka HDCP) whereas maybe the older HDMI equipment ignored those flags.
Some people say that if you go into the control panel of Mac Min and change sleep settings to display always on, this problem will go away. I have never investigated this since I already put in the new HDMI switch.
