I was driving near when i saw something not commom, a man fishing and giving the fishes to this "gar�as" (i don�t know the name of this bird in english). There was more or less 8 to 10 gar�as waiting the fish.

I took some photo and i post here to divide with you my friends.

ruchigup08-14 12:57 PMI opened a SR on July 24 2008. My priority date was going to be current starting Aug 2008, but still representative was kind enough to open SR for me . Guess at that time they were not getting bombarded by volume of calls.

It is almost 20 days and I have not received any response. CSR say it takes upto 45 days to respond.

- Did any body get a response back on their SR
- How much time it took to get response
- What format response is - Email / Letter / Call (are there any LUD's also)
- What is the content / detail level of response [Considering most of us are opening SR for case status and pending NC]

I work for a small company,which is holding my H1.Through this employer,
I got a job confirmation from a canadian company,but due to my leagal status, the Canadian company is not willing to give me an offer.

They mentioned that H1 with EAD is a complex scenario for the canadian work visa processing.Is there any other option to work in Canada?

My details are as follows:

My details :
H1 - six year completion in Oct 2010.No H1 stamping on passport
EAD - valid upto Oct 2010. Applied for renewal in Aug 2010.
AP - valid till Dec 2010

Even though I had EAD, I never used it for employment.
I returned to US last month.I used AP at poe since I didn't have project.

Please advice.

Will her H4 get invalidated the moment i become a permanent resident. What happens if she boards a plane and reaches US to find that her H4 is not valid ?

So, she needed a co-signer who is one but unfortunetly she couldnt get one cuz no one other then your own family member will trust u and sign and affidavit or co-sign a loan. Now her aunt who came with her husband on his work visa,been living for 9 yrs, recetly went out of status(I dont know the reason as its personal) has bank account and of course some savings. So my friend's aunt signed the Affidavit for my friend that was required by the university in order to process the student visa. Now after the application is filed, my friend is worried and maybe you can help her answer the questions. Her english isnt so good so Im going this for her(thu mine is bad too :)

-I do know one thing that if a person getting a student loan is not a US citizen/permanent resident she/he would need a co-signer who is one and I also know that for sure that the loan agency check the credit history of a co-signer. SO,since my friend's aunt isnt a permant resident or a US citizen(she is out of status in fact) so she cannot be my friend's co-signer for the student loan BUT what about Affidavit?
do the Immigration check the backgound of the person who signed the Affidavit,attached with her bank statments, for the student visa process or they mainly will check the student's background? my friend is concerned as she doesnt want her aunt to be in any trouble!

looivy06-25 08:00 AMI got FP notice inside 2 weeks of submitting my EAD application. I am in TSC. Again FP depends on when you last Finger prints. I dont everyone 'HAS' to get FP.

We both have had ours taken. First one in 2007 (July 2007 filing) and second in 2008. Does that mean we are not reqd to take any FPs? Pl advise.

Some of may think "Wait for the actual letter to come" but I feel too nervous and just want to share my thoughts. I applied for EB5 and my I526 was approved. Then I applied adjustment of status and got an I485 RFE. Have not got the letter yet but got the email that my case is on hold right now. Can you tell me about the RFE? Is that common? Is that the first step of denial? I'm so nervous right now. I will write what they are asking when I got the letter which I'm expecting on Tuesday or Wednesday. Thank you very much.

These days people are figiting wrong ful denials through MTRs. RFEs are common and one does not have to worry about RFE. Just wait for your letter and respond accordingly. There is no "first step" for denial - if your case is approvable it gets approved - if not it gets denied - period.

I have valid AP until Oct 16, 2008. I am going out of country between 1st Aug - 31 Aug.

I read that upon return, I will be paroled for validity with 1 year from that date.. i.e 31 Aug, 2009.

Does that mean I will not need AP renewal until 31 Aug, 2009 and I can re-enter US until that date without having to renew AP.?

I have PERM labor and i140 approved with current employer in EB2 category. The priority date is Nov. 2005. The problem is, since the project I am working on is near completion, its difficult for me to assume job secuirty after 1 year. hence I wanted to swicth the job right now and I have couple of years on H1B in hand so that I can get started with Green card at new company. My questions are -

1. With new employer can I use the priority date of i140 approved with old employer. (I know that I will need to file PERM labor and i140 again).

2. Is it true that I can use PD only if old employer does not revoke it. In that case is there a way for me to make sure old employer does not revoke it?

3. Incase I could not file Green Card with new employer soon, can I get 3 years of H1B extensions with new employer, after my 6 years of H1B are over (since I have i140 approved with old employer)?

I will really appreciate anyone can give me some brief guidance on this.
