Statusnone88May 6, 04:04 PMIt's happened to me as well, for a couple times. Seems like either when the iPad goes to sleep, or the iPhone goes to sleep, the link needs to be re-established by turning off/on the personal hotspot feature.


Any idea how to avoid/fix it? Or is it another one of those "deal with it" type situations?

Well, it's mildly amusing. I would say though, it holds an important message to Microsoft. If you were running on medical equipment, it would have to be 100% reliable, so why any less for business or home users?

katannaAug 15, 11:28 PMI think it turned out pretty well. I pretty much followed the tutorial, except for two parts. First, I had to cut the iMac in half so that I could render lights on both of them. If I didn't, the bottom would get no light, but in the real world, it would because the top is leaning over. Second, I added two shadows.
I didn't mean to steal the spotlight idea from iLikeMyiMac, it just kinda grew like this...

Dalton63841Dec 31, 07:16 PMYou need to use either a router or ethernet switch to connect them both on one network, and then go into system preferences and enable DVD or CD Sharing in the Sharing prefpane.

Shy of a router or ethernet switch you might be able to do something with a VPN, but even IF you could it would be painfully slow.

alph45Apr 17, 08:27 AMyou could render in h.264 and wrap in mpeg4 instead. don't know about qt windows, but mac version needs a plugin (Perian for example) to play avi files.

never thought of dv as a delivery codec, regardless of the wrapper, but haven't messed with tape in some time.

Then he may have deleted Quicktime and now Windows Movie Maker has taken over and changed the default file opening so he can't open the others. seems to be a user error.

You can perform this by holding the home button and the lock button together for around ten seconds the Phoebe would automatically switch off and restart displaying the apple logo for around another 20 seconds, in normal cases that would resolve your issue if not I would try to restore the iPhone via iTunes.

All i want is a app that tells me my system processes and whats raping my CPU/battery. And it can quit them like force quit them from the app.

You are right and, side topic, I hate that most TVs only have a VGA for computer input.
